Councilman Turner stated that Jack Turner of Fisheries Department has said the building at the lake has been bid; Jack is picking the colors of the building. Mr. Silvers has been contracted to do the roof with the state doing the remainder of the job. We need to get with Dewitt Jackson about the disposal of the old building as we no longer have a site to dump it after the storm. SBCDA: Councilman Phillips stated that the SCBDA will be helping the 5 sisters and a diner with there grand opening the 25th of July. Councilman Phillips also stated that the SCBDA will be helping with the opening of the New Dollar General. Mayor's Comments: Mayor stated that he appreciates Lee Biddle the Lake manager, he is doing a great job and the lake looks better then it has in many years. The Dollar General is on tract but a few weeks behind, we hope to know soon and announce to the public when the grand opening will be. Mayor closed meeting with prayer. There being no further business. Mayor Dendy asked to adjourn. Councilman Turner made a motion, seconded by Councilman Phillips and passed unanimously. At 7:10 pm., the council adjourned.
