New Business: Mayor's Comments: Mayor stated that the construction of Dollar General is held up because they hit rock a couple feet down. Mayor stated that there is a mobile home preparing to move in at the crossing. Mayor stated that it is unfortunate that someone would put in a mobile home at an area that is good for a business, although since zoning failed we can expect a mobile home park coming to, and no business is going to move in with these moving in. Councilman Goolesby stated that business will still come in, mayor replied no they wont. There being no further business. Mayor Dendy asked to adjourn. Councilman Owens made a motion, seconded by Councilman Goolesby and passed unanimously. At 6:38 pm., the council adjourned. Next meeting will be held May 12, 2009 at 6:00 pm. Work Session will be held May 12, 2009 at 5:00 pm
