Lake Concession Building

The Sylvania DeKalb County Lake has a new look coming. The State Department of Fisheries, DeKalb County and Sylvania have been working together to build a new concession building. Lake Manager Lee Biddle has put in many hours working with Jack Turner of the Fisheries Department and the building plans they developed will provide a more lake front home appearance. The demolition started at 7:00am the 4th and the entire building crumbled within 24 minutes, the building is more then 40 years old and has had several additions over the years but it condition was on the verge of becoming condemned.
