Town of Sylvania Regular City Council Meeting Minutes October 13,2009 Mayor Dendy called the meeting to order at 5:58 p.m. Mayor Dendy led the prayer. Councilman Owens led the Pledge of allegiance. Mayor Dendy welcomed all guest. Mayor Dendy requested a motion to disperse the reading of the minutes from the September 22, 2009 Council Meeting. A motion was made to disperse the minutes by Councilman Turner, seconded by Councilman Goolesby and passed unanimously. Attendance: Mayor Dendy Councilman Turner Councilman Phillips Councilman Goolesby Councilman Miller Councilman Owens Old Business: None Guest: New Business: Mayor told the council to discuss the annexation 09-12 of Mr. Summerford and Mr. Stone. The property on Hwy 75 from Mr. Mike Hall's property at Dogwood Lane to just past County Road 849. A motion was made to annex the properties by Councilman Turner, seconded by Councilman Goolesby. Mayor called for any further discussion. Mayor called for a roll call vote on the pending motion.
