Street:
Councilman Goolesby reported: New street sign for new names of streets
awaiting final map and money was requested from local legislature to
help buy signs. Painting of no passing double yellow lines on Highway 75
completed. Trees overhanging 6th and 27 and hitting buses cut back. The
one way time signs on order waiting for them to come in. Bush-hogging
and weed-eating continuing around town. Cleaned ditches on West and
2nd ST.
Public Works:
Councilman Phillips reported: Investigating sewer infiltration.
Park and DeKalb Lake Board:
Councilman Turner reported: New building in at lake, trusses set. Sam
Construction has taken over and doing good job.
SBCDA:
Councilman Phillips reported: Scarecrow trail is Oct 31 would like town ot
purchase sign that was destroyed announcing the trail cost is $100.00 to
$125.00. Mayor stated we have a motion to purchase sign. Councilman
Turner seconded.

Mayor's Comments:
Mayor stated the Boy Scout camp is looking really good.
There being no further business. Mayor Dendy asked to adjourn.
Councilman Turner made a motion, seconded by Councilman Miller and
passed unanimously. At 6:12 pm., the council adjourned.
